Really consider the scope of your project. Beyond just location (kitchen, bath, floor, etc). Are you bordering on a full remodel? Or, needing minor updates and/or handyman services?

Are you looking for really bespoke custom fixtures or ready-built installations?

Do you need planning for small spaces? Tricky closets or uneven flooring?

Question 2: What is your budget?
We need to know your budget not so that we can exhaust it completely but so that we can fit in as much as possible while understanding the true scope of your need. Renovation and construction budgets can range from 1000s to hundreds of thousands. Handyman services could be in the hundreds. Getting an idea of what you are able to spend will tell us a lot about the scope of your project. You can fill out a Project Questionnaire now to help us begin the quoting process.
Question 3: What does your timeline look like?
When you are ready to get started? We love estimating timelines and can get very close to our projected end date. Also, we typically start projects 1-2 weeks from signing a finalized quote.
Question 4: Do you need design help?

We are here to help you completely plan your project. In addition to our expert contractors, we can provide you with architects and interior designers to detail.

What do you do?

What do we NOT do?! -- Okay, we don't do pools -- but otherwise we have an extremely wide skillset in construction and renovation from design to completion. This includes residential spaces, commercial spaces, and outdoor living.

Do you do small jobs?

How much will my project cost?

We estimate cost based on materials and labor required to fulfill your job scope.

We estimate miscellaneous expenses for items that typically come up in projects like yours. 

Throughout the quoting process we provide an estimate with line-items for required materials and miscellaneous expenses. 

What happens if you've under quoted or find an unforseen problem with my property?

We always include miscellaneous items which takes care of the most common "surprises" such as mold, broken subfloor, etc.

For truly unforeseen circumstances our process is as follows:

  • Step 1. Assess the new scope of the job.
  • Step 2. Send additional quote for fixing the unforeseen issue.
  • Step 3. Keep the original job moving as efficiently as possible. 
How long will my project take?

Great Question!

  • We can usually get started within 2 weeks of a finalized quote.
  • We work Mon-Friday with crews at your property from 9-5.
  • Once we know more about your project we can guesstimate your job with a variation from 1 day to 2 weeks.
What happens if it takes significanly longer than we anticipate?

This virtually never happens unless the scope of the project grows along the way. Which we love!

 

If you decide to add jobs to the scope of our original proposal we will recalibrate your new finish-date along with the additional quote. 

Do you clean up as you go along?

We maintain a clean work area (or as much as can be expected during a construction zone). Once your job is complete, our cleaning service is available to deep clean your property.

About the Process, Quoting and Customer Service

How does quoting work? Is it itemized? How do we get started on a quote?
  • After we understand the scope of your project we do a thorough walk through.
  • Once we have all the measurements and necessary information, we will provide a quote within 1-2 weeks for review.
  • Once all changes and questions have been established and the quote is finalized, we are able to get started within 2 weeks.

Our quotes are itemized as much as possible. However, some aspects of your project will have variable costs which we identify and account for during the quoting process.

How does payment work?

Depending on the size of the project, we will ask for some form of payment upfront. (50%, a third, or a percentage). Once we get started your payment schedule will be tailored to your project. Such as 50% + 25% + 25% at an appropriate interval. 

Are you insured?

Yes. We are insured up to $1 million in damages.

Do we have our own workers?

We have our own employees as well as our preferred sub-contract crews.

In short, the process is as follows:

  3. Quoting
  4. Quote Revision in Person
  5. 2nd Walk-Thru (payments, additional questions, meet your foreman)
  6. Set Start Date
